2. Eligibility

To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract.

You may also buy for a business. The rights that EU and national law give consumers — the right of withdrawal in section 8 and the consumer's legal guarantee in section 9 — do not apply to a purchase made for a business; liability for defects is then governed by the general law of Romania.

3. Products

We take care to describe and picture our products accurately. However, images are for illustration and slight variations in colour, texture or appearance may occur, particularly for handmade or natural-material items. Products are subject to availability and we may discontinue any item.

4. Prices and VAT

All prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and are inclusive of any applicable VAT. Delivery costs, where they apply, are shown separately before you confirm your order.

We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders we have already confirmed. If we discover an obvious pricing error before dispatch, we will contact you and you may confirm the corrected price or cancel the order.

If you buy for a business established in another EU country and give its VAT number, we check the number in the European Commission's VIES system. Where the sale qualifies as a VAT-exempt intra-Community supply, the checkout shows the price without VAT, and you account for the VAT in your own country (reverse charge).

5. Your order and the contract

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance of your order or dispatch the products, whichever happens first.

We may decline an order — for example if the product is out of stock, there was a pricing or description error, or we suspect fraud or a breach of these Terms.

How to order: you add products to your cart, enter your delivery and billing details, choose how your order is delivered and paid for, and see a summary of the order — the products, prices, delivery cost and total — before you confirm it. Until you confirm, you can correct any detail by going back a step.

After you order, we email you a confirmation with the details of your order; please keep it, as it is your copy. The contract is concluded in English. We keep a record of your order and will send you a copy on request.

6. Payment

Payment is processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. Your payment is authorised when you place your order. If a payment cannot be completed at checkout, your order may be saved and we may send you a secure link to complete payment; your order is only confirmed once payment succeeds.

Where the Shop offers it at checkout, you can instead pay in cash on delivery; any cash-on-delivery fee is shown before you confirm the order.

7. Delivery

We deliver to the areas shown at checkout, which also shows the expected delivery time. Unless we agree a different date with you, we deliver within 30 days of the contract being concluded. If we do not deliver in time, you may give us an additional period appropriate to the circumstances; if we still do not deliver within it, you may terminate the contract and we will refund everything you paid without undue delay. Risk in the products passes to you when you, or someone you name other than the carrier, take possession of them. For deliveries outside the EU, you may be responsible for import duties or taxes charged by your country.

8. Your right to cancel (14-day withdrawal)

As a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason within 14 days of the day you, or someone you name other than the carrier, receive the goods — for an order delivered in several parcels, from the day you receive the last one.

To exercise this right, tell us your decision to cancel using our contact details before the 14-day period ends. You must return the goods without undue delay and within 14 days of telling us. We will refund the price you paid, including standard delivery, within 14 days of being notified — though we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or proof that you have sent them.

We refund using the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree to another, and you pay no fees for the refund. For an order paid in cash on delivery, we refund by bank transfer to an account you give us.

The quickest way is the “Withdraw from contract here” link at the foot of every page of the Shop: we confirm your withdrawal by email straight away. You can also tell us by email or post, for example using the model form in our Returns & Refunds policy.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain goods, including items made to your specifications or clearly personalised, goods that deteriorate quickly, and sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

Unless the goods are faulty or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning them.

9. Returns, refunds and faulty goods

You have a legal guarantee that goods will be as described and of satisfactory quality. Under EU law, you are entitled to a remedy for goods that do not conform to the contract for at least two years from delivery.

If your goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, contact us. You are entitled to have them repaired or replaced, free of charge; if that is impossible, or is not done within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience, you are entitled to a price reduction or to terminate the contract and get your money back.

10. Product reviews

Only customers who bought a product can review it: once an order is completed, we email a personal link that is valid for 90 days. We read every review before publishing it. We publish positive and negative reviews alike; we do not publish a review that is unlawful, offensive, contains someone else's personal data, or is not about the product.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Shop, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, or using it for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.

12. Intellectual property

All content on the Shop — including text, images, logos and product designs — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. You may not copy, reproduce or use it without our permission.

13. Our liability

We are liable for the loss and damage we cause by not performing the contract that could be foreseen when it was concluded. We do not exclude or limit our liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for harm to anyone's life, body or health, or where the law does not allow it to be limited, and nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer. We are not liable for loss caused by your own breach of these Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. As a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the country in which you live.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You can also contact the consumer-protection authority of the country where you live, or an alternative dispute resolution body.

In Romania, the consumer-protection authority is ANPC (https://anpc.ro), which also provides alternative resolution of consumer disputes (SAL): https://anpc.ro/ce-este-sal/.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force on the date you place it. The date at the top of this page shows when these Terms were last revised.
